Enchanted Fruit on Warm Sand: Kirkè Tiziana Terenzi 

When creating Kirkè, Paolo and Tiziana Terenzi drew inspiration from an evocative landscape south of Rome, today preserved as a natural park, where vast sand dunes meet the sea, mountains, forests, and dense Mediterranean vegetation. The house connects this landscape with the myth of the goddess Circe, whose enchanting presence in Homer’s Odyssey becomes the central metaphor for the fragrance. Kirkè was conceived as a warm and sensual composition with the character of an enchanted potion: radiant, persuasive, and designed to leave a lingering impression of mystery and sensuality.

 

Olfactory Notes

Upon the first spray, Kirkè opens with an abundant rush of fruit. Passion Fruit brings an exotic tart sweetness, joined by ripe Peach, Pear, Raspberry, and Cassis, while the unusual Warm Sand accord introduces a dry, sun-heated contrast beneath the juicy opening. As the fragrance develops, Lily of the Valley emerges alone in the heart, adding a clean and delicate floral transition. The base becomes warmer and smoother as Heliotrope, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Patchouli, and Musk surround the remaining fruitiness with creamy, powdery, woody, and musky depth.
