When developing Kirkè Overdose, Tiziana and Paolo Terenzi returned to the mythological inspiration behind the original Kirkè: Circe, the legendary enchantress from Greek mythology. Created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Kirkè, this special edition is presented as an intensified reimagining of the original fragrance rather than simply a stronger concentration. The composition expands its recognizable fruity character with Bulgarian rose, an elaborate white floral heart and a warm, enveloping base, reflecting the brand's themes of seduction, transformation and mystery.

 

Olfactory Notes

Upon the first spray, Kirkè Overdose opens with a vivid combination of Brazilian Passion Fruit, Romagna Peach and Red Raspberry from Trentino, illuminated by Bulgarian Rose. The opening is lush and fruit driven, but the rose introduces a floral dimension almost immediately. As the fragrance develops, Alpine Muguet, Japanese Gardenia, Blackcurrant, Indian Jasmine Sambac, Warm Sand and West Siberian Lily of the Valley form a complex floral heart with fruity and mineral nuances. Finally, the composition settles into a deep, velvety base of Sardinian Heliotrope, Red Indian Patchouli, Australian Sandalwood, Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Musk and Ambergris, giving the fragrance its creamy, woody and musky finish.
