Minuit et Demi Fragrance Du Bois: warm, sensual gourmand fragrance

When developing Minuit et Demi, the idea was to create an intimate gourmand fragrance with the atmosphere of late night indulgence. The fragrance was created in collaboration with Demi Rawling, who described her ideal gourmand as sweet, warm, addictive and sexy. Fragrance Du Bois presents the composition around the feeling of half past midnight, when warm spices, coffee and caramel create a rich and seductive nocturnal character. Perfumer Stéphane Bengana composed the fragrance, incorporating the bespoke Bourbon De Laire accord developed by Symrise.

 

Olfactory Notes

Upon the first spray, Minuit et Demi opens with Cardamom and Pimento, sharpened by the brightness of Bergamot. The combination creates a warm, spicy introduction that contrasts aromatic freshness with a more intense peppery character.

As the fragrance develops, Caramel and Coffee form the gourmand heart. The sweetness becomes richer and smoother while the roasted character of coffee gives the composition additional depth. Fragrance Du Bois specifically highlights these two notes as central to the fragrance's addictive, nocturnal personality.

Finally, the fragrance settles into a warm base of Vetiver, Cedarwood, Cashmeran, Vanilla, Musk and Bourbon De Laire according to the brand's current official pyramid.
