When developing Parisian Musc, the idea of creating a fluid, minimalist, and urban musk fragrance served as the central inspiration. Aurélien Guichard built the composition around Ambrette Seed from Peru — the only natural plant-based musk used in perfumery — aiming to reinterpret musk through a contemporary Parisian lens. Matière Première describes the fragrance as an airy and modern woody musk where vegetal softness meets refined sensuality. Rather than projecting loudly, the scent is designed to feel intimate and effortlessly elegant, evoking the impression of clean skin, soft fabric, and understated luxury moving through the atmosphere of a modern city.

 

Olfactory Notes

Upon the first spray, a crisp Fig Leaf accord introduces a fresh green brightness with creamy vegetal undertones, immediately creating a soft and contemporary atmosphere. As the fragrance evolves, Ambrette Seed from Peru emerges at the center of the composition, revealing a delicate musky warmth that feels smooth, airy, and naturally skin-like. Virginia Cedar Oil reinforces the woody structure with dry elegance, while Ambrettolide Supreme amplifies the clean musky character.
