Rabbit by Zoologist: soft green gourmand fragrance

When developing Rabbit, perfumer Fanny Bal drew inspiration from rabbits foraging through a meadow filled with clover, grasses, flowers and freshly disturbed earth. Zoologist presents this pastoral setting alongside the comforting sweetness of carrot cake, creating a fragrance that moves between the natural world and an imaginative woodland bakery. Green leaves, roots and hay evoke a rabbit’s habitat, while almond, vanilla and biscuit bring a warm, edible softness. The result is a whimsical fragrance that combines vegetal freshness, powdery flowers and creamy gourmand notes without completely losing its earthy character.

 

Olfactory Notes

Upon the first spray, a Green Vegetable Leaves Accord creates a crisp, leafy opening, brightened by Bergamot and fresh Apple. Cinnamon immediately introduces warmth and sweetness, giving the green beginning the first suggestion of a spiced carrot cake.

As the fragrance develops, Carrot and Clover Flower Accord strengthen its earthy, pastoral character. Jasmine Absolute and Violet add a delicate floral powderiness, softening the vegetal notes and creating the impression of wildflowers growing through a sunlit meadow.

Finally, Rabbit settles into a warm gourmand base. Biscuit Accord, Vanilla and White Almond create a creamy, baked sweetness, while Hay and Patchouli preserve the fragrance’s dry, grassy and earthy qualities. Soft synthetic Musks add a smooth, comforting texture, completing the contrast between carrot cake and the natural scent of a rabbit’s meadow habitat.
