Le parfum oriental Essential Parfums Divine Vanille est sorti en 2019 sous la direction du talentueux parfumeur Olivier Pescheux. En 2018, la PDG de l'entreprise, Géraldine Archambault, a accidentellement laissé échapper la nouvelle de la sortie de ce produit exclusif, puisque c'est elle qui a supervisé sa création du début à la fin du développement et savait exactement ce qu'il devait être. Ainsi, dans une de ses interviews, elle a déclaré que la marque développait une toute nouvelle vanille, qui aurait une vision complètement différente. Elle ne devait soi-disant pas être trop lourde et gourmande, tout en conservant son charme doux et naturel.

C'est avec cette idée qu'Essential Parfums Divine Vanille est sorti, répondant pleinement aux attentes du chef de l'entreprise et de tous ses fans. Il s'est avéré exquisément lumineux, mais pas du tout monotone, il a très vivement changé d'accents de la vanille à ses autres composants et s'est habilement harmonisé entre eux. Comme prévu, la pyramide olfactive impeccable d'Essential Parfums Divine Vanille est entièrement construite sur une riche vanille de Madagascar, qui traverse de nombreuses étapes différentes dans son développement. Elle n'est pas du tout prétentieuse, mais domine la sauge sclarée, la cannelle épicée, l'osmanthus, l'encens et la fève tonka, qui sont relevés d'une touche de cèdre du Texas.

I never should have listened.....

i bought this as a blind buy, i know, i know but the noted and the "Rave reviews" how could i not love it?? Here's how............. It smells like pure acetone nail polish remover. Then it fades to old mouldy/musky bathroom. I can't smell any thing other that. On paper this should be a top tier scent for me. Sadly, my body chemistry just doesn't mesh with it .I know that a perfume scent can sometimes change slightly after being opened and exposed to air, so i'm really hoping this happens. Just have to wait mand see

GREAT HEROD ALTERNATIVE

If you're into fragrances you know that Parfums De Marly is one of the most popular niche brands on the market but their fragrances, although great, are extremely expensive. Herod is one of their most popular fragrances and it is gorgeous. Divine Vanille is a fraction of the price and comes very close to the same scent profile as the much more expensive Herod. It isn't by any means a clone but on skin, the scent is very close. Essential Parfums are niche but very affordable and accessible for those who're more on a budget. If you want to smell like Herod but don't have $400 to dish out, Divine Vanille will get you close. It has great performance on my skin and smells amazing. Five stars!
